Yes, I’ll be there, but I’m just not sure yet where “there” is. I have to figure out which event to attend, where I can (somehow) be the most help and add some energy. Also, I hope that the event leaders are considering how to “leverage” and “prompt” the media. On-campus things are great, and valuable, but something tells me that, in order to help the media understand that its own coverage also needs some improvement, some people might want to consider taking some of the event TO the media in some positive and peaceful way. Will there be some people on the front steps of the New York Times, or the San Francisco Chronicle, or the Sacramento Bee, or whatever? If you know (or have some connection with) the event organizers, perhaps you could ask whether they are taking at least part of the event TO the media. Just a thought.
Jeff,
Maybe you can also leave a message for the organizers on the Focus the Nation website?

Hi there! I hope you don’t mind, but I just hijacked your post topic and posted it on my site, too. I figure the more awareness, the better, right?
Be well!

Thanks Jason for ‘hijacking’ the above. That was the intent. 🙂
